From a seemingly infinite pool of creativity and a collaborative exploration of theater set design, painting techniques and natural materials, three outstanding concepts have emerged as the first David Rockwell for Maya Romanoff Collection.

Inspired by Weathered Walls, one of Maya Romanoff’s first and most successful products, Stitched highlights the beauty of craftsmanship and the traditional art of paper-making. Hand-dyed paper that resembles fine lacquered leather forms the beautiful backdrop for rows of stitching, resulting in a stunning covering that’s rich in dimension, both visual and textural. Stitched is offered in four patterns with several colorways each.

Luxurious to the touch and the eye, Blanket is an intriguing, wool-blend covering inspired by the warmth and comfort of a favorite wool blanket. Layers of fine wool are stitched with contrasting thread, creating a striped effect that enhances the highly-tactile appeal of the covering. The soft 54" panels are available in a variety of grey and brown heathers, wrapping not only the room, but its inhabitants, in a soothing embrace. Blanket is offered in eight sewn and three screenprinted, tone-on-tone colorways.
The Blanket line is currently in development. Please check back for availability.

This truly innovative wall covering conspires to fool the eye, appearing to magically change colors when viewed from different angles. Double Take is comprised of four 54" Type II vinyl designs, including a base corrugated texture and three imprints. It will be available in a variety of colorways.
The Double Take line is currently in development. Please check back for availability.

To celebrate House & Garden’s Big Apple theme, Rockwell Group’s design for Maya Romanoff's table is a vision in red.
Wallcoverings from the David Rockwell for Maya Romanoff Collection will be used to create a cozy yet urban New York dining experience including a cylindrical-shaped vase wrapped in a candy apple red version of Stitched and a tablecloth made from Blanket, a soft felt wallcovering. The dining chairs will have custom knit covers with a whimsical addition of knit sleeves that link together to provide guests with a sense of familiar intimacy.
